RAMBO: FIRST BLOOD PART 2
The ass kicking is exponentially increased in Rambo FB pt II. In the second installment of the Rambo movies, we actually get to see him kill some people…on purpose. Despite its very slow start, it picks up in the last 30 minutes making it a pretty good action flick. It starts off like the first one, but soon turns about and the action we love to see, begins.
Rambo is called upon to go into Vietnam to take pictures of what everyone thinks is an abandoned POW camp. He was strictly ordered to just take pictures and absolutely, under no circumstances, engage the enemy. Yeah right, the only things Rambo will take pictures of are the number of body bags needed after he finishes the mission. Telling Rambo not to engage the enemy is like telling a fat kid not to eat the Twinkie you just put in his mouth. It just isn’t going to work; you just end up with one less Twinkie and a whole camp full of dead guys.
One thing that I am most grateful for is that during this movie, we are introduced to the most awesome weapon: the exploding arrow heads. Rambo does some major destruction and killing with these tiny explosive devices. When these things explode, they don’t leave anyone or anything to talk about it. He blows up people, trucks, and villages alike all with a tiny arrow.
One perk for the ladies and for a few of you guys is that Rambo shows some bare butt. He also actually finds a love interest in this movie; but before you go and try to trick your girlfriend into watching this movie by saying it’s basically the Notebook with more guns, you should know that she dies. All is well and back to normal with nothing to get in the way of the kick-ass action. Rambo moves on to save the POWs, the day, and the free world by frying up some Russian baddies.

Guys getting killed (Bad guys): Vietnamese/ Soviet Russians
Best Kill:
Rambo is running from the Vietnamese and Russians. He meets up with a lone Vietnamese soldier. The soldier shoots at Rambo repeatedly, and Rambo never even flinches. He stands there and stares at the soldier. The soldier runs out of ammo, looks at Rambo, and runs the other direction. Rambo ever so slowly raises his bow and takes aim. He shoots the soldier with one of his exploding arrow heads, causing him to explode. Nothing was left of this guy, not even his boots.
Best line:
Rambo gets captured and is being tortured. The Russian bad guy commands that Rambo get on the radio and make a call to the American headquarters from which he came and tell them that he is still alive but has been condemned, etc. Rambo replies,
“F*** you.”
Best Explosion:
Rambo is flying a helicopter filled with a group of POWs. The helicopter gets damaged by another helicopter being flown by the main Russian bad guy. So, Rambo lands the helicopter and pretends that he is dead. When the Russian flies down to look at Rambo, he pops up and shoots a rocket launcher at the bad guy, blowing him and the helicopter to smithereens.
